The third running of this Olympic distance triathlon will again be based at Bassenthwaite Sailing Club and both the run and cycle routes pass our front door. So whther you're taking part or a specator it's the ideal place to stay. Drying facilities, secure cycle storage and single rooms available. Triathlon friendly owners - our son is taking part! Well winter has arrived at last. Snow now covering the high fell tops. Skiddaw has turned white and we are expecting some snow at lower levels this coming week.
