Coronavirus Update

28th May, 2020

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we have extended our temporary closure  following continued government advice for us all not to travel and ensure social distancing measures. We have waived our cancellation fees for any stay with us between now and the end of June and will credit any deposits against future bookings or can give a refund. Guests do not need to have new date in mind, we will simply issue a credit note to the value of the amount paid. We really appreciate the support from the majority of guests who have asked us to roll their deposits forward - it really helps us to plan for the future so thank you!

We have already started to plan for new arrangements once we are allowed to re -open to guests following the easing of lockdown restrictions.


Although we do have very high standards of cleanliness , we will offer enhanced cleaning of all areas of Link House.

We request that you do not enter if you are displaying any of the Covid 19 symptoms including temperature, cough or loss of taste or smell.

We have reduced our booking terms to free cancellation up to 1 week prior to arrival for the rest of 2020. 

Check in

We offer speedy contactless check in with hand sanitizer available.

We will offer tea and coffee on arrival, however, we now request that this is taken either outside or in your room. 


All rooms will be deep cleaned and aired prior to guests’ arrival and we will continue to clean them daily with all bins being emptied.

We have removed excess soft furnishings such as cushions from the beds and will ensure all other items are cleaned thoroughly.

All bed linen will continue to be washed commercially by Shortridge laundry and they have already enhanced their washing procedures.

Particular attention will be paid to the cleaning of all surfaces, and items such as keys, handles, remote controls along with bathrooms.

The hospitality trays will continue to contain individually wrapped items for your use.


We have moved our breakfast area into the 2 front rooms with lovely views over the mountains and have ensured that the tables are spread out with a minimum of 2 metres between each.

There is also the option of using 2 outside tables (weather permitting!) 

There is also a time slot option to ensure that there are very few guests in either room at any one time.

We will also remove all shared buffet items, with guests able to pre-order items from an extended menu including freshly prepared individual fruit salads etc. All cereals will be individually boxed.

We will also offer a takeway breakfast option of items such as breakfast sandwiches which can also be eaten outside or in your room.
