You will find a friendly and relaxed atmosphere at Link House.

We (Rowan and Judith) took over Link House in December 2010. Our aim is to provide a home away from home for your holiday or business stay.  We are preserving the period features in particular, the stained glass, high ceilings with original moldings and the fireplace in the lounge. There are eight comfortable bedrooms which are being refurbished to provide modern facilities.

There is free free wi-fi in the house and a PC available for guests to use to check emails etc. and we use it to display the weather forecast in the mornings.

Link House is fully licensed so guests can enjoy a drink and relax in the cosy lounge with views of Sale Fell and Wythop Wood.

We have a selection of OS maps, walking books, guide books and other tourist information to help you plan your day but if you want any advice or ideas of what to do or where to go then Rowan will be happy to suggest walks, drives or places to visit to suit your individual needs.

Being Cumbria it does rain occasionally and if you do get wet we have a boot and clothes drying room available.

We have a private off road car park available which can hold approx 8 cars.

The House is completely non smoking. We are sorry but we do not accept pets in the rooms other than guide/hearing dogs.
